How did you get started in the fitness industry?
I have always been an athlete since I was a kid. I played soccer since I was 5 years old and have also played volleyball, basketball, softball, and flag football. I love being outdoors and love snowboarding and hiking. I guess you can say fitness has just been a natural part of my life.
How do you stay motivated in your career?
I am just a naturally self-motivated person. I like to challenge myself and like to find ways I can better myself in every aspect of life. I am also a very positive person, and keeping your head up no matter what life throws at you is the best way to keep pushing forward.
What was your biggest challenge in your fitness journey?
Getting in a routine is definitely hard sometimes. There are days where I want to be lazy and getting yourself to continue a routine is a challenge.
What are your favorite clean foods and splurge foods?
I am a sucker for asparagus and chicken, but splurge foods are my favorite! I love tres leches cake, macarons, pizza, tacos, burgers; if it is junk food, chances are I like it.
How was your amazing trip to Costa Rica and what was your favorite part of the trip?
The Costa Rica trip was honestly one of the best trips I have ever taken. Everyday was so fun filled and I met some of the most beautiful and incredible people. My favorite part of this trip would definitely be making new friends, and surfing. Surfing has been something I have written on my bucket list and have been wanting to do for years. What better way to check that off my list than to do it in Costa Rica. I know for certain I will be back.
