How did you get started in fitness?
I was 25 years old and had just moved to the Cayman Islands (as a professional accountant) where I started attending the local gym. I had noticed that there were some individuals in there that looked like they were getting ready for some kind of fitness competition so I decided to go out and watch. From there I decided I was going to give it a try and I guess you can say I “caught the bug”. From then I dedicated all of my time to learning as much as I could about the fitness industry which has lead me to where I am today; back in Cayman, running my company online where I provide online training and meal plans to clients world-wide.


How do you stay motivated in your career?
Its my son and my clients, they motive me each an every day. I absolutely love my job and the feeling I get when I see my clients succeed. I also believe in practicing what you preach, so if I am educating my clients on proper nutrition and training, I as well follow along right there with them. For sure we/I have our days, we are only human but sometimes its that day that brings you back even stronger.

What was your biggest challenge in your fitness journey?
It was leaving a cushy 9-5 job as an accountant, stepping into the fitness industry where it is very cut throat, becoming my own boss, HR, marketing team and the list goes on and on. It was well worth it but I had my days of wanting to throw in the towel and go back to what was “comfortable”.

The 90s top hits are my favorite!


What’s your favorite cheat meal?
Hands down cupcakes

What does your typical week in the gym look like?
When I am back home on the island I train 4-5 days a week with my coach. I started to find that when I was training myself at the local gym I would get sidetracked, take too long, and start to think about all the stuff that needs to be done. Its my 1 hour a day that I get to dedicate to myself (as being a mother and entrepreneur there is not a lot of downtime) so I wanted to really make use of it and hired myself a coach. Depending on work, shoots and events that are coming up we cater my training to it. Currently we do a lot of heavy lower body paired with lactic acid training and some core complex work.

Which female fit celebrity’s physique do you admire the most?
Amber Elizabeth Dodzweit, not only does she have a beautiful body, she is inspiring and very motivating

What does your supplement schedule look like?
Every morning I take my greens along with Celucor CLK, a probiotic and an adrenal support. Pre workout includes the Cellucor NO3 and if I need an extra boost I will use the C4. During my workout I take the Alpha Aminos. Post workout will be my glutamine. Twice a day I use the Cellucor performance whey as a way to keep my protein intake high.


What are you most proud of?
How far I have come while keeping my head high. There was a time in my life a few years ago where things were not good for me personally and it really took a toll both physically and mentally. Looking back now and knowing that low I was in and seeing where I am at now, there is a world of a difference and I have a lot of close friends, family and my son to thank for continuing to support and push me

Do you have any advice or inspirational words for someone who is aspiring to get into the fitness world?
Be you! This industry is growing very rapidly and I find with the job I do and meeting so many fitness minded individuals, that it is very easy to get sucked in and lose sight of who you are and how far you have come.


What’s next for you?
Continue to grow my brand and my sites & I have a lot always on the go and in the works with my online coaching which I am excited to share in the near future. I also plan to take a bit of time off this summer, give myself a bit of a break and enjoy this tropical island I live on with my little one.
