How and when did you get started in training and living a fit lifestyle?
I have been into fitness for about nine years now, but I was into long distance running and then about three year ago I was in a gym and I was amazed when I sore these girls in the weights area lifting heavy weights and looking really fit!


What got you started in the fitness industry?
I started completing because my first ever coach told me, I could be complete if I trained hard enough and focus… At the time I didn’t know what my body could transform into so I worked so hard for months and completed and was so shocked with my package, I just loved the drive and passion it have me.


You recently earned your pro-card, what was that experience like for you?
It was amazing! It’s a night I won’t for get, it’s still a massive shocked! On the night of the comp and the next few nights after, I hardly slept I was so excited,But I truly love it and I feel so lucky that I was awarded my WBFF Pro Card.

Along your fitness journey, have you ever felt like quitting… and if so what/who motivated you to keep going?
Yes many of times, last yea I was left with out a coach, and I had just bought my first home… I gain a lot of weight and I felt completely left in the dark it was a horrible time but I still trained I told myself that things would get better and I would figure out how to get my normal body back… what kept me going was the fact that how I looked made me so un happy and I hated it, I would never settle because I knew I could be better!


What types of cardio have worked best for you?
The best cardio for me, would be HITT high intense training. This type of interval training, is short and intense, it gets my heart rate up quickly, it keeps me fit and it’s never boring.

What supplements do you use… and what are some of your favorites you would recommend?
My favourite at the moment, would be my beyond BCAAs from EHPLabs I know nothing exciting but I’m on a new training program and I have DOMs every day and if I could have only one supplement I would use my BCAAs every day over any thing ESL because it does help me recover quickly. Also I can’t live with out the maxines burn protein bars I love cookies and cream with a nice hot coffee first thing in the morning!


When you look back what do you think has been the key to achieving your goals?
Looking back, I believe that even though the hard times and times when I felt like my program wasn’t working… I never gave up on my self, I knew I could be better and that’s what drives me to get up every day and train or eat my whole foods every day with out fail!


What’s one tip you would give to a person just starting their fitness journey?
If you’re starting out, I would highly recommend to you, do you’re study, learn about Diet, different training… And hire a coach some one who has the same goals for you and learn from them, the more you know the more harder you will push yourself.

What’s one of your favorite quotes?
You can’t climb the ladder of susses with your hands in your pocket.


What’s next for you?
Next year I am going to travel to Toronto, Canada for the WBFF worlds, where I’ll compete for the first time on the world stage, I also hoping to enjoy doing more photoshoots, they are my favourite part of my journey!
