Skinny Happy Hour For Fitness Gurls

Dear Bethany Frankel, You did not invent skinny cocktails, you are just the genius that registered the idea and monetized it. Fitness gurls have been practicing “happy hour with a conscience” for years. The idea is to have that cocktail without the guilt. And it goes like this:

Pink Pump

This cocktail (featured above) is lower in calories than most alcoholic beverages, it looks sexy and taste delicious.

  • 3 sprigs of fresh lavender
  • 1 oz of Gin
  • 1/2 oz of dry vermouth
  • Lemon peel

Shake 3 springs of lavender and gin in a cocktail shaker.  Add the vermouth and ice and shake. Garnish. Yum!

Purple Pump

This is one of the most refreshing cocktails you will ever taste. Mix, shake, serve.

  • 3 oz Lime juice
  • 1 oz of Gin
  • 1 egg white
  • 1/2 oz of Violet liqueur

Green Pump

Low caloric heaven. Lime and lemon are great condiments when you need the flavor minus the high sugar. Did we mention the vitamin C does work wonders even when mixed with a little booze?

  • 3 oz of Lime juice
  • 1 oz of Vodka
  • 4 Slices of fresh cucumber
  • 1 oz of club soda
