Lately I’ve been sucked into the perils of comparing my life with other people’s ‘highlight reels’ on social media. We can all relate to that feeling of “Damn…?My life ain’t shit” after scrolling through your IG feed. So to keep life real with you here’s a small list of the MANY things that went into making this photo look this way: . . a professional makeup artist + spray tan + 2x a day workouts & fasted cardio + a wardrobe stylist + baby oil + dieting + dehydration techniques + carb depleting + water & sodium manipulation + an amazing photographer’s capture & photo editing + pumping up before the shoot. . . And that’s just to name a few. So don’t get it twisted- I did not just wake up like dis. Here’s to not falling in that comparison trap and loving ourselves a little better. ???
